Jean Lalonde lives in Wentworth-nord and is the CEO of Xyleko Trinity Immobilier SEC, a real estate company active in the Laurentians, and volunteers at CSSS des Laurentides.
Jean grew up in Laval, Quebec where he was elected President of the Student Council at Laval Catholic High School in 1980. Though many of his classmates left Quebec after Bill 101, Jean stayed, graduated from Communication Studies at Concordia University. A few years later he co-founded one of the first online health education companies in North America, IC Axon Inc., which won over 30 international awards. Following the sale of that company, he co-founded Pleio Health Support Systems, a pioneering telehealth company that was also sold and is now headquartered in the United States. Together the two companies provided education to millions of North Americans and created hundreds of technology and media jobs in Montreal. Jean has two very entrepreneurial daughters, who live in Montreal and London, England.
