Jean grew up in Pierrefonds and did his primary studies at Ste-Geneviève school. After three years in Quebec, the family returned to Dollard-des-Ormeaux where Jean completed his secondary studies at Pierrefonds Comprehensive High School. Jean later studied at Vanier College and graduated from Concordia University. A successfull career in finance with vice presidential positions at Bank of Montreal and Manulife, Jean jokes that his important work was raising a family of three with his wife Lisa and a complete involvement at the community level.
